Starting the Unisa Council Bursary 2024–2025 is currently possible.

For students at Unisa, the following funding choices are available:

  • students who couldn’t finish their degrees and had debt.
  • students who are still studying and have debt but were not eligible for NSFAS assistance
  • To be eligible for this scholarship, students must apply and complete the requirements listed below.
  • In South Africa, a student needs to have a grade point average of at least 55 percent in order to register for a formal qualification.

Submission for 2024 Unisa Council Bursaries

  • Based on the criteria specified by the donors, the Student Assistance Directorate (DSF) of Unisa administers donor assistance in the form of study loans and bursaries. Their main objective is to assist students who deserve academic achievement but are having financial difficulties. They are quite pleased that so many new students have joined us from different colleges and regions.
  • The major objective of the Student Funding Directorate (DSF) is to significantly inspire and uplift its clientele.
  • In order to properly and efficiently handle every dollar we have at our disposal, the Student Resources Directorate (DSF) is responsible for ensuring that all stakeholders—particularly donors and students—receive top-notch service from DSF staff.
  • For the Unisa Council Bursary, applications are now being accepted.
  • May 2024 is the application deadline.

The Unisa Council now offers financial aid to Unisa students in the following areas:

  • Due to outstanding debt, freshly accepted students who were not eligible for NSFAS financing, debt-ridden students who are still in school, and students who were unable to graduate
  • To be eligible for this bursary, students must submit an application and meet the requirements listed below.
  • In South Africa, a student must have earned an average of at least 55 percent in order to register for a formal qualification.
  • A third-party service provider will review applications to ensure the accuracy of the data submitted. To assess financial neediness, a means test will be used. Incomplete forms won’t be taken into account.
