Unisa Council Bursary 2024–2025 can now be started.

The following financial options are accessible to Unisa students:

  • students with owing debt who were unable to complete their degrees.
  • students who were not qualified for NSFAS help but are still enrolled and have debt
  • Students must apply for this award and meet the standards given below in order to be eligible.

To enroll for a formal qualification in South Africa, a student must have a grade point average of at least 55%.

Application for Unisa Council Bursaries 2024

  • The Student Assistance Directorate (DSF) of Unisa manages donor funding in the form of study loans and bursaries based on the criteria given by the donors. Their main goal is to help students who merit academic success but are struggling financially. They are quite happy that so many new students from various colleges and areas have joined us.
  • The Student Funding Directorate’s (DSF) main goal is to substantially inspire and uplift its clients.
  • The purpose of the Student Resources Directorate (DSF) is to effectively and efficiently manage every dollar we have available by ensuring that all stakeholders, notably donors and students, receive high-quality service from the DSF personnel.
  • Now accepting applications for the Unisa Council Bursary.
  • May 2024 is the application deadline.

Unisa students can now get financial aid from the Unisa Council in the following areas:

  • due to unpaid debt, students who were unable to graduate
    debt-ridden pupils who are still in school
  • newly admitted students who were not eligible for NSFAS funding
  • Students who wish to be considered for this bursary must submit an application and fulfill the standards indicated below.
  • To register for a formal qualification in South Africa, a student must have obtained an average of at least 55%.
  • Applications will be examined by a third-party service provider to guarantee the veracity of the information provided. A means test will be applied to determine financial neediness. Incomplete forms won’t be considered.
