Applications are accepted throughout the year thanks to Unisa’s open and continuous application model.
Take note of the following:

  • Between January and March 2024, all admissions applications must be submitted online. There won’t be any self-help stations available for applications at the regional offices.
  • No one is accepted into a qualification automatically. These two things will determine whether you meet the requirements for admission and whether there is room for you.
  • Not every qualification is always accessible. Only qualifications for open positions will be accepted via the online application form.
  • There is additional assistance available for this certification through TVET colleges.

A deal between Unisa and several Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges calls for the delivery of instruction in a specific set of credentials. Students who sign up for these classes progress more quickly than before.

Keep the following in mind:

Check to see if the TVET college of your choice can help you get certified.
Apply for admission during the application period through your TVET college or Unisa.

Unisa will provide all qualified candidates with the information they need regarding registration dates and the registration process once they have acknowledged their acceptance of Unisa’s offer. Visit www.unisa.ac.za/register for details on registering.
