Do you plan to visit the University of South Africa (Unisa) during the 2024-2025 academic year? You must register online in that case! The Unisa website registration process has been improved, making it easier to submit your application materials. Furthermore, the website now includes several new features, such as the ability to print your forms. This new method is expected to make registration for all Unisa students and visitors easier and faster.

  • Before applicants (both new applicants and Unisa students who requested admission to a new qualification) can enroll, Unisa must make a placement offer. Furthermore, Unisa reserves the right to refuse to process and/or cancel your registration if it is demonstrated that you were granted a qualification by mistake.
  • All returning students and those who have formally postponed their studies must register for the 2024 academic year within the relevant registration period.

You will require the following in order to register on the web:

  • Student Number; You must be a Unisa student who has applied for and been accepted to the university, whether you are a returning or first-time student. Students cannot register unless they have a student number. If a student forgets their student ID, they can look it up on this page.
  • Once you register with Unisa, you will receive a free email for the rest of your life. Invest some time in claiming your UNISA login if you don’t already have one.
