Anyone who wants to begin a new degree must submit an admissions application. This comprises

  • brand-new Unisa customers.
    Transferring to a new degree and/or specialization is done by Unisa students.
    Candidates who have applied for admission but have not yet received a placement offer accepted their wish or registered despite having requested one.
    Students who had finished any type of program, including a higher certificate, and wished to continue their university studies.

1st academic year

REJECTION OF ENTRY

  • You won’t be able to continue your undergraduate studies if you don’t pass the necessary amount of modules. If a student wants to be readmitted to Unisa after being expelled due to subpar academic performance, they must first show proof of successful completion of an NQF level 4, 5, or higher program at another training facility or a Unisa short learning program (www.unisa.ac.za/slp). Before a request for re-admission will be taken into consideration, the student must have fulfilled the requirements of this rule by earning at least 48 credits.
