How do I set up a MyLife UNISA account?

How do I sign up for myLife? To create a my life UNISA account, you must have access to your myUNISA Student portal. Here is a step-by-step guide to creating an account.

  • As a first step, go to the myUNISA student website.
  • Select “Claim UNISA Login” in step two.
  • Step three is to enter your student ID number and press the “Continue” button.
  • Step 4: Complete the form by providing your full name, birthdate, and South African ID number, passport number, or foreign ID, as well as other pertinent personal information. Select “Continue” after entering one of the ID or passport numbers (but not both).
  • Step 5: Click “Acknowledge” after reading the terms and clicking the applicable boxes.
  • Step 6: A screen with account information, including your phone number and email address, will appear (mylife). Both the myUnisa and myLife email accounts will require the same password.

Every student will have a different UNISA email address, and it will have the format 123456@mylife.unisa.ac.za.

  • To access myUnisa, go to the My UNISA website and input your student number as well as the temporary password you were given in step 6. Sign in by clicking here. Be warned that after claiming your Unisa login, setting up your myLife email account may take a full day (24 hours).

How do I access myLife Unisa?
In order to access your myLife email account, the following steps must be taken:

  • Visit the www.mylife.unisa.ac.za login page or click the myLife email link there. From this page, you will be taken to Microsoft Outlook.
  • Enter your UNISA mylife password along with your UNISA email address from step 6.
  • Click to sign in. Simple!
  • You can also access MyLife UNISA by logging in to your student portal and selecting the myLife Email Access option.
  • NOTE: If you’re using a shared computer or device, remember to log out of your myUnisa email account when you’re finished.

Where else can I find my Unisa password? It could take up to 24 hours to receive your password, or it could be invalid. How do you carry yourself? Log in to myUnisa using my admin login to change your password. The acts that must be taken are as follows:

  • Go to myUnisa login in step one. Click Login after entering your User name and Password.
  • Step 2: Select “My Admin.”
  • Third step: select “Change Password.”
  • Step 4: Update your password by filling out the supplied form. Both myUnisa and myLife accounts will require the same password.

Your new MyUnisa password may take up to 30 minutes to take effect on your MyLife services during busy times. However, if you are still unable to log into your account, kindly ask for help at MyLifeHelp@unisa.ac.za.

Maintain the security of your myLife UNISA account login information. Because it is critical to the educational process at UNISA, a myLife account should be created as soon as possible. Check your myLife email account for new messages.
