How can a MyLife UNISA account be created?

Exactly how can I sign up for myLife? To create my life UNISA account, you must have access to your myUNISA Student portal. Here is a quick and detailed setup guide for the account.

  • As a first step, go to the myUNISA student website.
  • Select “Claim UNISA Login” in step two.
  • Step three is to enter your student ID number and click “Continue.”
  • Step 4: Complete the form by providing your full name, birthdate, and South African ID number, passport number, or foreign ID, as well as other pertinent personal information. Select “Continue” after entering one of the ID or passport numbers (but not both).
  • Step 5: Click “Acknowledge” after reading the terms and clicking the applicable boxes.
  • Step 6: A screen displaying details about your account, including your phone number and email address, will appear (mylife). The identical password will be required for both the myUnisa and myLife email accounts.

Each student’s UNISA email address will be unique and will look something like 123456@mylife.unisa.ac.za.

  • Step 6: Enter your UNISA mylife password and UNISA email address.

  • You can also access MyLife UNISA by logging in to your student portal and selecting the myLife Email Access option.
  • NOTE: If you’re using a shared computer or device, remember to log out of your myUnisa email account when you’re finished.

Where can I find my Unisa password? It can take up to 24 hours to receive your password, and even then, it may or may not work. How are you carrying yourself? To change your password, you must use my admin login to access myUnisa. The following are the steps that must be taken:

  • Log in to myUnisa as the initial step. Click Login after providing your User name and Password.
  • In step two, select “My Admin.”
  • On the third step, click “Change Password.”
  • Step 4: Re-enter your password by filling out the form given. Both myUnisa and myLife accounts must use the same password.

During peak times, your new MyUnisa password may take up to 30 minutes to take effect on your MyLife services. If you are still unable to get into your account, please contact MyLifeHelp@unisa.ac.za for assistance.
